Reviews inventions and discoveries by university faculty and staff employees and makes recommendations to the Chief Research Officer regarding the university's ownership interest in patents and exploiting of ownership interests in patentable products. Committee meets as needed to discuss the invention disclosures. If a recommendation from the committee is needed between meetings, it is handled via e-mail. There is no term limit for committee members.
